TAB UNLEASHED AND UNCENSORED

IT TAKES A LOT TO IMPRESS ME BUT THIS SURE DID !!
Back to Full Blog

Ever so often, something comes along that really
makes an impression on your brain for what ever
reason......

One was the Coke commercial with the song
I'd like to teach the world to sing......

that stayed in my brain for about a year.....

Then there was the Alka Seltzer commercial with
the old guy sitting on the side of the bed...
"I can't believe I ate the whole thing"

Then again, Coke came back with the cute snow bears....

Remember the Marlboro Man...?????

Marketing firms try hard to gain your attention and
imprint the brand into your conscious and unconscious
though patterns....Some are very good at this...

I usually have forgotten any commercial for anything
about 2 seconds into the next one....however there is
one that has grabbed me for whatever reason....

Be it the scenery, or the language, or the production
value, or the actors or all of the above....I vote the
following commercial the best of the decade.....Don't
ask me why as I could not tell you....but I love this
spot.....Enjoy....

Where did Anonymous get the picture of my cousin, George, the one we do not talk about?

Some ad writers and producers are great. They should make regular shows. And then there are all of the others. The ones that make me change stations. I boycott their products.

So, is the reason you aren't here right now that you're out buying insurance? Travelers Insurance? Commercials are supposed to make you want to part with money.

Sherry....No..NO..NO...No buy overpriced product..just love the commercial..I think it's the giant umbrella and all the uses they found for it..plus the guy carrying it reminds me of John Steed of the Avengers fame...plus the Gypsy guy..."SWIM IT !!??"...then the kids
riding on the handle....I just thought it was an extremely cute, well produced and funny spot....don't see to many like that except during
the superbowl...

So you see, when you have a brain the size of mine about this big *
it does not take a lot to overwhelm it....

I always enjoyed the Snickers commercials from several years back. "Not going anywhere for awhile..."

Hi T.T. Thanks for the comment....I was a little strange as a kid which I suppose explains my adult mindset, but as a kid I always thought Snickers were "NASTY" for some reason I can't explain...but somewhere on the road to maturity I got detoured and found that I love them.....Think I will go back and take the ink blot test again.....
